Giant Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Recipe

For my dad's birthday I wanted to make something different as mum had already sorted out a surprise cake. So a Giant Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup it was! It's like Reese's but without the graham crackers. This recipe will make one creamy, chocolatey dessert that will leave you wanting more.

Ingredients
350g dark or milk chocolate
200g smooth creamy peanut butter
100g icing sugar (sifted)
100g butter (softened)
2 tsp vanilla extract

100g dark or milk chocolate (optional marble effect)
How to make
Line a 9" fluted flan/tart tin (with loose base) with greaseproof paper.
Melt 175g of chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Make sure the bowl does not touch the water. Once melted, pour into the tin and make sure all the sides are covered with chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Beat the butter, peanut butter and icing sugar until smooth. Remove the tin from the fridge and add the peanut butter filling. Refrigerate.
Melt the other 175g of chocolate and pour on top of the peanut butter filling. Place back in the refrigerator.
*Optional* Quickly melt another 100g of dark/milk chocolate and pour on top of the previous chocolate layer. Swirl using a knife to create a marble effect and place back in the fridge to cool until set.

Enjoy!

This recipe can be made dairy-free using sunflower spread instead of butter and dairy-free chocolate instead :)
